My role
This is a freelance project started in Feb 2020 task is to build end to end responsive web application for B2C market and website and dashboard for B2B market. As a sole designer for the product I audited the usage of the product to understand user base. User research, Ideation, brainstorming is done along with the team members on weekly basis, finding a solution and designing lies under my responsibility.
Understanding Product
Problem
The present interaction between the business owners, individual employers and domestic workers is mostly without background verification and thus leads to disruption if any misconduct.
Vision
Creating a interactive channel to bridge the communication and trust gap between employers and domestic workers, thereby designing a system which would ease out the hiring and verification for employers and opportunities for domestic workers.
User Study
Business Owners' Pain Points
Employees fake data. Lack of verification platforms for domestic workers. Lack of platforms for criminal verification. Companies are sued in case of unfair activities of employees
Individual Employers' Pain Points
Have to trust on word of mouth to hire a domestic worker. Have no knowledge/ records or address proofs of DW’s in case of theft or other crimes. Don’t know where to find/hire domestic workers
Domestic workers' Pain Points
Lack of awareness about manual jobs.
No platform to find jobs that requires no/basic/domestic skills. Do not know the payscale or value of their skills.
Challenges
One of the major challenges was to create platform suitable for bulk orders in B2B platform and individual orders on B2C platforms. Keeping the platform more engaging and In that way, without ignoring information hierarchy and causing a disjointed experience across the system.
TrueHelps web platform had too many variables, dependencies and stakeholders to wrangle and it was difficult to launch an synchronized design update across users/ stakeholders
